I have a customer who is looking for information about a special printing
job he's considering. Here's his question:
"I am looking for a way to print a series of large [A2] digital images
on paper sheets but i need the line work to be "illuminated" [a la
medieval biblical manuscript type work]
I was wondering if you can inkjet print on metallic paper or use
metallic inks on regular paper.
Silk screening would be cool too but $$$.
any suggestions on process or sources you can recommend for such an
endeavor?"
He is an architect working with a studio of students and this may be
something they do for a final project-all digital. I doubt the quantity
would be large. The physical dimensions for jobs for him are typically
oversized as well-I generally run wide-format prints for his students.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
