This would only work i think if you completely changed to another system. If you upgraded you probably have the only original dongle and need it for your system. Looking for version 4 specifically but i am willing to go to a higher version. Name your price... I am opening a new retail store as sort of a test and would prefer not to have to buy a copy of the latest version. I costs almost as much as my rent. Besides, I have emailed EFI on several occasions to find out details of purchasing the new copy and they have never responded to me. About 8 years back there were a lot of miss cuts, miss drills, etc. so I said lets add what I called "cut tics" "perf tics" "drill tics" (9pt circle) to stop errors. No one liked it at first (extra work and press had to line up exact) and said customers would complain. Never had a customer complain yet and we add them to every thing that has a bindery operation. We use 4pt long x .25pt rule for most on print cuts, off print cuts are std. 9pt long x .25pt 9pt (1/8") off copy. There are always tics to the edge of the sheet to help press line up everything. Works great, just proof layout rule up sheet. Another big plus everyone complained about, making a rule up with all the tics and operations noted including where the numbering goes. On some books jobs we use fold tics to help line up on press, they're hidden in spine. Extra time but a lot less remakes. Ed -- Design Department e.s.
