[PrintShare] number of accounts per salesperson

I wouldn't think a sales rep would last too long if this was done. I
know I wouldn't want to do it. 40 is an interesting number however.
Thanks,
Doug

Douglas,
Tom Crouser once advised me to keep a sales rep's accounts to 40 or
below.
As they add new accounts they give the lowest producing ones back to the
company as house accounts.
I never had a sales rep that liked this approach.

Our management group just met and had a lengthy discussion about how
many accounts a salesperson should have. I was curious if any of you
would be willing to share a comfortable number for their salespeople. We
currently have a list of about 225 non house accounts for our
salesperson which seems to be overwhelming for some of our people.
Any help would be appreciated.
