I did extensive research about 5 years ago on the Cannon IR 105 and it was rated tops, got good reviews, etc. Yet after purchase, the technicians that I had were here ALL THE TIME! As often as they were here, they knew our kids names and when our pot-lucks were. On the other hand, the Xerox repair guy knows his stuff and we see him MAYBE 5 or 6 times a year... and we flog all our machines. I suggest you consult Larry Hunt first (yes, it's worth it to subscribe to his newsletter) it becomes a negotiating point, because you know the price of the machine on the street before the used car salesmen, umm, I mean Copier salesmen knock on your door. We ended up buying a Rhin-o-tuff machine that punched the holes. Clear plastic for the front cover and went to a art supply store and bought matt board for the back. We either print the front cover or laser print depending on color and quantity. The inside pages we ran a screened set of lines for notes and a logo in the bottom right corner. The were such a hit that we have several jobs we do regularly. One of them we ran all on the laser printer because it was a short run and there were four different phots on the bottom corner. The cost of two jobs sent out would have cost more than the machine and supplies. Stuart Washburn Graphics Services Manager Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services PO BOX 2165 1000 S. Thanks I am not sure if I understand your question, as the other 2 responses seemed to talk about file types. You can try to 'IMPORT" into Corel Draw, an if the file opens in CD, then you simply click on FILE, EXPORT and choose a file type. However, I just tried this and it did not create a very good file, so it must depend on some other criteria. Chris Special Effects Custom Printing 440-647-1515 107 E.
