As you'd expect, I had a lot more questions in the beginning than I had a few months later. I ended up dropping his service when my father passed away--no time for sales activities for several weeks, and just barely time to (sort of) keep up with the customers. It had pretty much evolved to the point of his functioning as a "professional noodge" anyway, and my wife thought she could be just as effective at keeping me on task, at a lower monetary cost . For those who have used Dave's services (perhaps as sales novices, perhaps not), what did you consider the "next step" for your sales training? All recommendations (books to read, courses to take, consultants to hire, or whatever) are welcome.... What you need now is continual motivation to keep going. I hired Wendy Weiss on S.'s recommendation and found her amazing. She gave me the impetus I needed to use the phone, and the tools I needed to keep myself on task. I would highly recommend her "Cold Calling College". I also read all of Jeffrey Gitomer's books and subscribe to his e-zine. Bill Farquharson is good too! He is coaching one of our list members now.
