[PrintOwners] (OFF) Politics

Well said!

Actually, I like political posts on this list, as long as they are
titled "Off."
When I'm busy, I delete. When I am interested, I learn from other
points of view.

Quite honestly, anyone who thinks their party is 100% right is usually
not worth listening to. I suspect most American's are somewhere
towards the middle. The rhetoric on both sides when carried to the
extreme is ignorant in my opinion.... The divisive "party first"
politics, if continued, spells trouble for our country...

By the way, I found nothing in Borzou's post that made me think he was
one of the guys who is always 100% right and anyone who disagrees with
him is wrong. Looked to me like a post from someone expressing their
views, but willing to listen. I appreciated his opinion and questions.
He even said he still doesn't know who he will vote for...

If we, as a group of business owners, can't respectfully disagree with
each other on issues, how in the world can we be discouraged or upset
when the politicians we elect can't or won't either?

What did I like best about Sarah Palin? She is not the typical
politician! I was inspired and excited by her speech.... She is
obviously smart, confident and dedicated. She seems like she is a
"real person.". Not a professional politician. Her brother just
opened a gas station. Her kids make mistakes. He husband is a real
guy, not a "trophy spouse." And the press making a big deal about his
DWI 20 years ago is laughable....., along with some of their other
attacks.

Quite honestly, I wish she was running for the big office...

I also wish more people like her from both party's were running for
office. I have no problem voting for someone on the other ticket when
I feel they are qualified and support some of the things I do.

So, in my opinion, keep the discussions going, mark them "Off" and
agree or disagree with respect and we'll all learn a little..
