and I apologize for sending this list into a tailspin.

I didn't really mean to do this, I was very excited about Sarah 
Palin's speech and guess I kinda got carried away.

I'm writing this because I know Bob's about to step in and shut us 
all down, so I'm going to take some responsibility here and try to 
put the control rods back in....

The reality is that everyone is entitles to their opinion, its what 
makes this country (and a kick ass military) the strongest on Earth. 
Personally I'm looking forward to meeting Borzou in Chicago, he seems 
like an intelligent, honest guy who may have different political 
views but that doesn't mean we can't be friends.

Many on this list remember Greg LeRoy who is no longer subscribed (I 
think) because he sold his printing business and moved on to other 
ventures. Greg incited a lot of discontent on this list because of 
his ultra liberal views. Many here did not like him, but I'm probably 
the only one that has ever met him. I had him and his wife over to my 
house last year when he was visiting San Diego and we had lunch in my 
kitchen (along with my wife as well). He had on a tie die t-shirt, 
waws wearing Birkenstocks and he was driving a rented Prius...totally 
in character with what you would expect (actually made me laugh 
because he was exactly as you would imagine.) But he was a very nice 
guy, smart, intelligent, personable. I liked meeting him and having 
him in my home. We are on polar opposite ends of the ideological 
spectrum, but just because someone has different political views 
doesn't mean he can't be your friend.

So, we're all friends here, we all have points of view, we're all 
driven to be successful, and we're all have more in common than not.
