[PrintOwners] Danka

As we have all discussed, service is LOCAL. No matter what company is in
your area, be they Xerox, Danka, KMBS, IKON, etc, the KEY is who they
employee to service the machines. And even that can change from day to day.
In my experience, it is a crap shoot.

We used to love Danka's service on a couple of small iR7200s, so much so
that we went with Danka when we recently upgraded to the very similar
iR7086s. Big mistake! Our favorite technicians had not been trained on the
7086s (my bad for assuming they would be, since the machines were so
similar), and the new techs suck the life out of me with every service call.
So Danka went from being the hero to the goat in the space of a week.

Everyone seems to love Xerox, but my experience has been painful at best and
actionable at worst. I have hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment
coming off lease this year (thank god) and I am counting the minutes until I
will never have to think the X word again in my life.

KMBS has been great so far, with our 6500, 451 and 750, and I have been very
satisfied, but if all my techs suddenly migrated to IKON, I'd probably have
to reconsider using KMBS if I didn't like the new guys.

Just like in our own printing companies, having a consistent, high quality
employee base and lack of turnover can and will create loyal customers.

YMMV
