We prepared art for a customer and they took the proof to another printer.
They canceled order with us so we sold the art to the other printer .
everyone happy, triple win on this one. It happened in West Palm Beach on Dixie
highway back in 87. I had a PIP and my friend Steve had a Sir /speedy. We
worked together and all was good. We were usually smiling when these things
happened. Strong Allies are a must!

Hope all is going good Steve,

You are not doing anything dishonest to the customer. They have not paid
anyone for the art work anyway. So why should you tell them you already
have it. This just keeps the broker happy also.

Finding a broker that is willing to pay you when he was stiffed is a
rare commodity these days.

If this customer pays on a timely basis, then you need to keep both
parties happy.

Reimbursing the broker and not telling the client keeps everybody happy
