We did this about 3 years ago when we were with IKON. They lost all their
best techs to another dealer. We made a call and transferred service with no
additional cost. They could have pressed the issue but did not on getting
out of the service contract. The unfortunate part is now the other company
has lost the better techs. I have given up and just signed for a new XEROX
as they have never failed us in the past when it comes to service. The
unintended costs of all these interruptions in the work flow cost a whole
lot more.
