[PrintOwners] Visiting other shops

We just got back from Paula Smith's shop in Baltimore. She wanted to get
into the vinyl signs business and we were training her employees.

I just wanted to remark on how well she runs her shop and how much everyone
seems to enjoy their job. Her employees were very receptive and excited
about learning something new.

I've talked to one owner from this list that was considering adding the
vinyl sign business to her shop, but her employees pretty much informed her
that she couldn't do it, because they wouldn't have time.

I've visited many other print shops, mostly owners from this list, and I can
say that Paula's shop seemed to have things running very smoothly, even
though it is quite a maze of rooms, and you almost need a map to find your
way through it.

Also, Paula was very hospitable, picked us up at the airport, and even got
us an upgrade for our hotel room to a suite because the hotel is a client of
hers.
