Kelly, you are close ...
The site www.continuousink.com you point out is using mass produced products
from china and they simply are not good enough. Almost everything you will
find on the net is just not reliable enough. I have been fine tuning my
project over the past few years and am fortunate to have had the Engineering
Department at a local University study and improve upon areas of my system I
felt needed it.
You are right, same print engines, same ink, produces consistant results
across the entire set up. Picking out a PMS colour is a matter of simply
selecting it.
