Wayne, I'm not an expert, but there was a discussion on here a while back
and I don't think you can let him have it. I think he needs to purchase it
if he wants it. I think you could send him the logo as a PDF, JPEG or TIFF
with the font embedded in it, but not just the font.
Let's see what some of the others say.

Subject: [PrintOwners] Adobe Fonts License Question
***** This is a PrintOwners List Message *****
I have a local printer that requires a Logo from me that I supplied in a MS
Publisher file. They are now requesting that I send them the font for the
logo..... an Adobe Cabaret Font. Can I just hand over the Adobe font I
paid for from Adobe without any legal license worries?
Here is what the printer had to say ....
Hi Wayne,
I don't think there is any legal issue regarding font sharing in 2008. I do
remember back 15 years ago or so there was some talk about this sort of
thing but to my knowledge no one, or corporation ever faced legal action
back then. Because everyone sends files to printing houses it is manditory
to use the same font that was used in the creation of the file, this is
standard business practice in the Graphic Arts industry. We get files from
all over the world and they always include fonts. It would be greately
appreciately if you could send us the font to avoid any complications
regarding the logo. Thank you for your undrstanding.
Regards,
