We've been doing our estimating by hand for almost 20 years (4 for
me), so I'm new to the market, and have done fairly unbiased
research. We're a much smaller shop (2 macs 2 pcs), but for me
Printers Plan was so much easier to use, and fit my needs so much
better, its worth buying windows for the Macs to have it. Granted
you'll need intel-based macs, so that upgrade may have to happen
first, but then you can run windows and mac osx on the same screen,
and bounce back and forth seamlessly. Obviously you don't want to
upgrade your computers just for this, but until then you're stuck
with PrintSmith. I do think its bush league that Printer's Plan
doesn't offer a Mac version anymore though.
