We struggled with this problem until we got an appliance from Printer's 
Shopper. It looks like 10 venetian blinds welded to an L-shaped steel plate. 
Each of the 10 sections holds about 50 remit envelopes, and once you get the 
hang of it, it works pretty well.

We have not touched it since the day we put in an envelope feeder, so 
contact me off list if you would like it.
