While it's not as clean and organized as Google, and you probably 
wouldn't want to use it to follow a thread, it makes old messages easy 
to find. You can search by from, to, subject, mailbox, body text, 
attachment name, and attachment contents.

There are some gmail users that have lost all of their email stored by 
Google. It's not a widespread problem, but if your email is that 
important to you, relying on a single, free service could end up biting you.
